Faith in Action is a 501-C3 coalition of communities, faith groups and civic organizations formed to serve the elderly. Service is delivered by compassionate volunteers helping the elderly to continue living independently. Based on a pool of volunteers with a variety of skill sets, interests and geographic base, available services range from transportation, friendly visits, light housekeeping, respite care for individuals with memory loss, seasonal yard work (not weekly mowing), and minor home repair. Services are provided at no charge. Donations are accepted to help offset expenses. Steuben County Office for the Aging contracts mileage reimbursement for volunteer drivers.

This volunteer organization serves majority of Steuben County with exception of Greater Bath Area that is served through Steube County Office for the Aging's ProjectCare program.
