    48 units for individuals and families. Preference goes to households with at least one U.S. military veteran, and to homeless applicants.

    Liberty offers 24 one-bedroom, 22 two-bedroom, and two three-bedroom apartments. Twenty of the apartments are accessible/adaptable for tenants with special needs related to mobility. Ten apartments are adaptable for people with visual and hearing impairments. The Rochester Housing Authority awarded Section 8 rental assistance for all of the units, ensuring the housing is affordable to veterans who need it most.

    To qualify (2017), at least one member of the household must be a veteran and total household income must be below $24,050 for one person; $27,450 for two people; $30,900 for three people, and $34,300 for a household of four. Applications are also available at the site office, 5251 Parkside Drive, Canandaigua, or from Geneva Housing Authority at 41 Lewis St., Geneva. Applications will be mailed upon request by calling or can be downloaded and printed from the Liberty Apartments Parkside Facebook page or website
