Program Families First:

Families First

  • Description:

    Overseen by Broome County Mental Health, the Families First program provides intensive in-home services for families wherein one or more members are experiencing mental health issues and there is an imminent risk that the child(ren) will be removed from the home. The program provides families with the supports and skills they need to work through the immediate crisis and prevent the children from being placed into higher levels of care including foster care, group home, or residential placement.
