    A partnership with National Fuel to assist elderly, disabled, or those with medical emergencies pay their energy bills. The program is designed to help those who are truly facing an emergency heating crisis. The program operates on a first-come-first-serve basis.

    Eligiblity:Must be 55 years or older, be disabled, or have had someone in the household face a recent medical emergency. The person must exhaust HEAP benefits and have made four payments to National Fuel in the past 12 months.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Documents:Most recent fuel bill, date of birth for all household members, proof of disability or medical emergency if applicant is under 60, social security numbers for all household members, all income for all household members, receipts of all payments made in the last 30 days.
