NYS of Health Navigator Program

  • Description:

    The IPA/Navigator will meet with individuals (and family members) privately at several locations throughout Schoharie County to provide Navigator services and assist with enrollment. The Navigator is also available to meet with small business owners to answer their questions about SHOP (Small Business Health Options) and help them enroll their company. Navigators can also meet with employees of small businesses to provide information about SHOP and the Marketplace.

    The Center provides enrollment information and assistance to Schoharie County Residents and Employers (50 employees or less) in one of the health plans offered by the New York State Benefit Exchange Program, also known as the Marketplace. An IPA/Navigator is available to answer questions, provide information, help residents and employers compare their health plan options, and enroll in the Marketplace. The Marketplace requires each individual and small business to provide specific information when they register to enroll. We have an information checklist available to assist you in gathering this information for your appointment.

It is anticipated it will take approximately 60-90 minutes to complete enrollment into the Marketplace so you must call for an appointment.
