Program Universal Pre-Kindergarten:

Universal Pre-Kindergarten

  • Description:

    Universal Pre-Kindergarten

Children are most successful when parents, teachers, and the community work together to meet needs of each child. CEO’s Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program embraces this idea. UPK is designed to help children prepare for kindergarten and learn the skills they need to be successful in school.

Certified UPK teachers provide a fun and safe learning experience that meets the needs of each child. The program has a focus on building positive self-esteem and a love of learning. Some programs are offered in the school where the child will attend kindergarten the following year. UPK curricula align with those of each school district to make sure each child is well-prepared.

Skills taught are age-appropriate and include:

    •Reading

    •Listening

    •Reasoning

    •Speaking

    •Coordination

    •Social skills

    •Emotional skills

The program helps children to prepare for Kindergarten while encouraging each child to be the best they can be.

•They must reside within the school district
