    The Yates County Office for Aging provides non-medical services and supports for persons aged 60 and older and their caregivers. Services available are:

    Information and Assistance Services (available to anyone at any age through our NY Connects Program).

    Health Insurance Counseling and Assistance.

    Assistance in accessing Medicare assistance programs.

    Caregiver support and respite services.

    In-home services for the Elderly.

    Home Delivered Meals.

    Meals at a congregate location or special event.

    Personal Emergency Response System.

    Project Lifesaver for those who may wander or have dementia.

    Transportation.

    Wellness and Health Promotion, including Bone Builders, Falls Prevention, and Eat Better Move More.

    Private Care Workers List.

    Volunteer Opportunities.

    Grapevine Express bi-monthly newsletter.

    Access to Legal Assistance.

    Eligiblity:1) Information and Assistance services through NY Connects are available to anyone. 2) Aging services programs: Age 60 and older. Additional eligibility criteria may apply depending on the specific program. A case manager will review your needs and determine what services are needed and whether any additional requirements apply.
