FAQ: How do I request a service for myself?

To request a service:
  1. Log on to the Resource Directory.
  2. Perform a search. The Resources page is displayed showing the search results.
  3. Select the check boxes of the resources you would like more information about. You can select the Select All check box to select all of the displayed resources.
  4. Click the Request Information button. The Resource Directory sends your request to the appropriate county's office and saves the resource to the My Pending Requests folder in your Information Requests. If the state receives your request successfully, the request moves to the My Sent Requests folder. If an error occurs, the service request moves to the My Failed Requests folder. Within the My Failed Requests folder, you can view the failure reason returned.
