The centers are open Monday through Friday (9am to 4pm) to provide nutrition, socialization, recreation, education and health related activities.
The Center Directors are available to provide information and assistance on various issues that affect the elderly. They help with forms or applications for benefit programs, help with arranging services, and make referrals to other agencies who provide services for the elderly.
Each center offers weekday meals open to all adults over age 60 and their spouses, usually at noon. Meals are also available for adults under 60 for a charge. Home delivered meals are available for frail and home bound elderly.
