Description:The Cancer Services Program of Chemung County provides:
FREE breast, cervical & colorectal cancer screenings to people who do not have health insurance.
The program also provides free diagnostic testing when there is an abnormal screening result.
Additionally uninsured individuals who are in need of treatment for breast, cervical, colorectal or prostate cancer may be eligible for coverage for treatment through the Medicaid Cancer Treatment Program.

Screening Services Available to those with little or no insurance:
Breast Cancer Screening (mammograms and clinical breast exams):
Women age 40 & over
Women who are younger than 40 and at high risk
for breast cancer
Cervical Cancer Screening (Pap tests and pelvic exams):
Women age 40 and over
Colorectal Cancer Screening (FIT kits - done at home):
Men & women age 50 and over who are at average risk for
colorectal cancer
Colorectal Cancer Screening (Colonoscopies):
Men & women who are at increased risk for colorectal
cancer
The Cancer Services Program of Chemung County is a partnership of community organizations and health care providers working to provide access to quality cancer screening services to the residents of our region who are without health insurance.
