The YWCA's Residential Services provide safe and secure housing for single women and those with children. Case management and supportive services available. Participants work with vocational educational counselors and social workers. Emergency housing is available up to 21 days. Permanent Housing is available to those who qualify.
12-14 bed Emergency Housing Program for homeless women and their children. Can only accommodate families with 2 children; boys cannot be over the age of 7 years. There is a food pantry for Emergency Housing guests but they must prepare their own meals. Private kitchen and bathrooms. Intensive case management, bus passes and personal needs are provided for everyone in Emergency Housing.
Also offers Permanent Supportive Housing with intensive case management: 44 efficiency and 5 1-bedroom apartments with private kitchen and bathrooms. All residents must have at least one documented disability as defined by HUD: Developmental Disability, Physical or Mental Health issues and/or substance/alcohol use. Must be at least 18 years old. Rent either paid by DSS or is no more than 30% of income.
